My name is Deji Olatunde. I am an entrepreneur and the founder of and the Lead Creative at Fotolighthouse. I studied Accounting at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria where I graduated with a Second Class Upper Division in 2001. Upon completing my university education I proceeded to the Nigerian College of Accountancy where I undertook the 9 months professional accounting course.
Prior to taking up photography on a full-time basis, I worked as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture – an American based international consulting firm – for 4 years. I rose to the level of Senior Consultant in Accenture’s Strategy Practice before exiting the firm in 2009.
Before joining Accenture, I worked with ReStraL Consulting, an indigenous management consulting firm, as a business analyst. He worked with ReStraL for close to three years. I bring to bear the wealth of experience garnered from consulting over the years when working with clients to ensure their jobs are executed successfully and with a high level of professionalism.
I am a certified member of the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) having successfully undergone and completed the Complete Course in Professional Photography. I won the “Best Fashion Photo of the Year 2011” award at the 2011 Nigeria Photography Awards (NiPhA) and was one the four nominees for the award of “Best Portrait Photo of the Year 2011”, and the “Best Fashion Photo of the Year 2012”.
In addition to photography, I enjoy coaching, riding power bikes and listening to loud music. I am happily married with a son.
